Saturday Night Fever Part 1: The Movie

As we all know, Saturday Night Fever was an enormous hit in the late 70s, but why? Was it all about the dance? The strut? The tight pants? After watching it now (and being a little bit shocked at what we saw) we knew there had to be more to the movie than what appears on the surface, and we knew we had to dive in to dissect it. It’s a conversation that comes with a trigger warning as we discuss the more difficult plot points and choices, but at times it’s also a lively debate about if SNF deserves all its accolades.
