Heartbreak & Hostages: A Rerun of the GenX TV Movie

We’re celebrating our 200th EPISODE by revisiting all the traumas from the TV movies of our GenX youth (naturally). But before we get to our meaty conversation devoted to this very special art form that was low on budget but high on love triangles, deadly diseases, dying parents, killer bees, and so, so many hostages, we’re bringing you an all NEW opening conversation where we contemplate (yet again) how one of the most comforting shows of our youth — Little House on The Prairie — was also one of the most traumatic. What were Melissa Gilbert’s most troubling episodes? Oh, don’t worry, we asked her! (You’ll be nodding your head in agreement — count on it.) And then we’re acknowledging our 200th episode milestone … with a lot of disbelief and, of course, gratitude.
